Authora is dedicated to promoting the use of PGP worldwide.  The Authora Soveriegn™Suite is a unique, patent pending, Public Key based solution. It’s easy to use for digital signing, encrypting and access control. When deployed it creates a virtual secure trusted zone into which customers and employees can easily and securely authenticate themselves, as well as exchange confidential, authenticated communications that not only would be considered “signed” for any legal purpose, but which would also be relatively easy to prove in a dispute. Eventually, zones may be linked under agreements made by the companies desiring linkage.

Authora’s Soveriegn suite of products may be licensed and run by an enterprise or Authora will provide the suite through its web services platform. The product suite component parts include the Soveriegn Server, EDGE Server and Client.

Authora Sovereign Server™

• Provisions Authora Trust Point Client™ based on policies set by administrator.
• Holds public keys generated by client in central registration
• Dynamically provisions public keys to end users to be used for:
  • encrypting messages
  • verifying
  • access control
• Provides admin functionality including:
  • Account creation and deletion
  • Comprehensive Reporting
  • Policy Management
    • By domain, user, application and protocol
    • Enrolment restrictions and guidelines

Authora Trust Point Middleware™ and Encrypted Data Gateway Engine

• Provides encryption and signing functions for enterprise
• Trust point additions to existing infrastructure & applications leverage and secure & extend application life cycle
  • SMTP/POP3 Mail Server

  • XML/HTML Server
  • Custom applications
• Provides APIs for connectivity to other applications, including proprietary customer applications
• Supports use of Authora Trust Point Client to replace username and password log in
   

Authora Trust Agent Client™

• Simple web-based enrollment and software provisioning
• Generates key pair, passing public key up to server.
• Adds user interface drop down menu and buttons into Outlook with point and click functionality
• Adds Authora Surfboard user interface to web browser with point and click functionality
• If supported at enterprise, permits drag and drop of private key onto web page to initiate authentication challenge and replaces username/password authentication
• Drag and drop can also be used to open encrypted messages and/or web pages.
